Calif. town plans large Veterans Village for disabled veterans

The city of Rancho Cordova aspires to be home to the largest Veterans Village in Sacramento County, and potentially the largest of its kind in the state of California.

City Council members awarded a $2 million grant from the California Local Housing Trust Program this month toward the project, aimed for the end of 2014.

It will attempt to house and help 125 disabled veterans capable of independent living on a 4-acre area at Mather Community Campus, formerly Mather Air Force Base.

Those poor veterans; another prison-like and all-controlling MANDATORY 12-step religious AA/NA cult insane asylum….while Mercy Housing execs get FILTHY RICH tapping into the veteran’s benefit funding streams.
