Craigslist founder makes cash, tech donation to veterans

Craig Newmark, the founder of the popular Craigslist, is donating $10,000 to help returning veterans connect and find jobs.

Newmark told NBC Bay Area this week that he’s making the donation to a cause close to his heart.

The Veterans Educational Transitional Services Center (VETS) at City College of San Francisco will use the funds to buy new Hewlett Packard computers. Read more about the donation on msnbc.com.
